Here at Market 49, we believe that to have a great tasting quality-made meal you shouldn't have to be in the kitchen all day. We know you have a lot going on and when you come home the last thing you want to worry about is what to have for dinner or what to make for the family. That's where we come in. 

As a local, proudly Canadian owned business, we believe in highlighting our BC producers and sourcing as many local ingredients as possible. We know you care where your food comes from, and so do we. 

With over 100+ years of combined expertise in the hospitality industry, you can trust that Market 49 will always bring the absolute best to your dinner table. We are devoted to ensuring each one of our dishes exceeds expectations before sending them to your door, putting the same care and attention into each plate as we would as if we were making them for our own families. 

Chef Dan

After Dan graduated from culinary school he found himself being pulled in the direction of the corporate kitchen lifestyle. Several years later Dan left corporate kitchens to pursue different styles and types of kitchens in the Metro Vancouver area. With Over 22 years of culinary experience under his belt his attitude and fiery drive keeps all of us on our toes here at Market 49. 

Chef Bryan

Bryan found his passion for cooking at an early age and immediately enrolled in culinary school after grade school. He quickly found that he was inspired by local, west coast ingredients and the Vancouver food scene. After working several years in many different exclusive hotels and restaurants, he brings over 6 years of high end banquet and catering experience to the Market 49 team. 

Chef Rob

Meet Chef Chef Rob, our talented chef from Europe who not only works super hard in the kitchen but also knows how to make everyone laugh. Rob has cooked up delicious dishes in kitchens all around the world, bringing a mix of flavors to our plates. We're excited to have Rob on our team, adding a touch of European charm to our tasty meals!

Haruy

There is a good chance if you have seen us at your local farmers markets or events you have already meet Haruy, she's a huge asset to our street team here at Market 49. Her great attitude and positive spirit bring a bright light to our team and to our customers. Haruy is also a great asset to the kitchen team bringing her Mexican heritage into play and inspiring those around her.

Jon

John has always had a passion for photography and art. You'll Find John creating original content and photos here at Market 49 where he brings our ideas and visions to life behind the camera. When he's not working on content you can find him at our pop-up markets in the summer time! His unique ideas and refreshing perspective are a very valuable asset to us here at Market 49.
